Utilizing a layered, atmospheric approach to beat craftsmanship and jazz improvisation, San Francisco Bay Area quintet Secret Sidewalk has armed themselves with a multitude of talented musicians and musical tools to build a compelling and distinct sound of their own. Founded in 2010 by Mike Boo, Alex “Pu22l3” Abalos, and Asonic Garcia, and soon joined by Mike Reed and Marcus Stephens, Secret Sidewalk is comprised of a close-knit group of musicians, all born and raised in the Bay Area, yet at the same time deriving from vastly different backgrounds and crafts. Accordingly, when Secret Sidewalk conspires musically they connect organically, to infuse a complex, psychedelic sensibility to their limitless soundscapes, challenging conventional
constructs of music making.

In recent years, Teeko has teamed up with acclaimed fellow bay area producer B.Bravo to form the modern bass/funk outfit, Starship Connection. Hitting festivals across the country bringing a new elements of live performance in the electronic music scene. His recent culmination of skills on synths, turntables and production have taken his live sets to new hights including several exciting collaborations (D’angelo ,Ruckazoid, Mark Ronson, Salva etc.). All in all, the man is at one with his art, no matter what his device his sound continues to take exciting new shapes while effortlessly blowing minds and breaking necks.
Max Kane
Max Kane is a co-founder of San Francisco’s legendary 4oneFunk crew. Accompanied by the addition of the Controller One turntable to his vintage analog synth arsenal, and elusive sample selection, MAX KANE constructs beats aimed towards re-shaping how the world defines live Hip Hop music.You can catch Max Kane’s production on Zackey Force Funk’s long awaited debut album on Hit & Run, “Money Green Viper” along with Teeko.

Mophono : Mophono has released two full length albums and a slew of singles giving birth to two new genre’s Thug Jazz and Dirt Wave and a new standard in the record industry called Skip on Beat.Inspired by 60’s psyche and experimental electronic music, Mophono Is known for his destructive drum breaks and heavy and orchestral instrumental compositions. With his legendary weekly “Change the Beat” party in San Francisco, Mophono is so deep in the beat culture melting pot he is stirring it. Performing live at the Brainfeeder festival (Flying Lotus brain child) with long time partner Gaslamp Killer and sharing the stage with DJ Shadow Amon Tobin, Edan, DJ Food, DJ Krush, Dabrye, Diplo and De La Soul with his Skip on Beat records, drum machines and moogs, Mophono intends to set a new standard in live electronic music performance.
